Cricket Nevisian Females Feature Big In Leewards Trials


Melecia Clarke and Saneldo Willet featured in a big way in the Leeward Islands female Cricket trials matches played in Antigua on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

In-game one, Clarke made 42 and picked up 3 wickets.
Another Nevisian, Rozel Liburd made 16 not out and captured 3 wickets.
Yet another Nevisian, Bellot, picked up 2 wickets.

In-game two, Melecia Clarke made 85 and picked up 3 wickets.
Saneldo Willet made 73 not out and picked up a wicket.

The teams were captained by Hector and Willet.

Once the Leewards team is finalized, the ladies will go on to Guyana to participate in the West Indies female championships, starting on June 7th.
